Good morning. 11/24/2025 To our members. We held our November Board of Directors Meeting this week. A number of topics were discussed, including some positions available to the members. We are looking for a member to run ORF’s Breakfast. If interested, please contact one of the board members or Roger Duty. We are also looking for someone to take over Baskets for next year. Again, if interested, please contact a board member for more information. We have several events of note: 1) 12/15/2025 Grandview Clydesdale Christmas Tour. The cost per person is $66.34. We currently have 8 people on the sign up sheet. We have 12 more tickets available. Please join us for a fun filled and very informative tour of the ranch. We will meet at Big Lots (Roses) parking lot and travel in a caravan to this event. More details to follow. 2) 01/04/2026 Celebration of Life for Jeanne Roy. Unfortunately, Jeanne left us several months back. She had a love of horses and horsepower. There will be a celebration of her life at Tampa Bay Downs. Art needs a head count by Wednesday, 11/26 of this week. So please let us know your intentions as soon as possible. Please read your emails to keep you abreast of what’s happening. We will be collecting 2026 dues starting at the November membership meeting. Dues for 2026 are $65 per family. Dues are due by the first of January. On with the Report: November 11/30/2025 Our Holiday Dinner will be at the Oak Room Bar and Grill on Sunday, November 30th, 5-9pm. We will begin taking entree selections and cost of $45.00pp at the October and November General Business Meetings. We need to give the restaurant an entree count so this is a pay in advance event. Single club members can bring a +1. Tina and Jack will be set up to take your entree selections and cash/check/credit card outside the dining room @ Mimis before the meeting. There is still time to join us for the Holiday Party. If you can’t get your check to Jack before Thanksgiving, you must bring it to the Oak Room and give it to Tina. Tina will need to know who and what your dinner choice is. Choice of Entrée: Chicken Marsala, Grilled Sirloin Tips, Grilled Salmon Piccata We will have a collection area for donations to help IES Food4Kids backpack program at the party.  This is a voluntary donation.  Food items they request are boxed mac cheese, ramen noodle soup, peanut butter or cheese filled crackers, canned pasta, canned meats, single serve snacks, PB and or jelly in plastic containers, single serve instant oatmeal, snack bars, canned veggies, single serve fruit cups and/or apple sauce, pop tarts, pudding cups.
