CORVETTE CLUB OF MARION COUNTY
General Membership Business Meeting Minutes
August 5, 2026
PRESIDENT: Mike Stone
Mike called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. He welcomed everyone and reminded everyone to
sign in and silence their phones. Mike asked all to stand to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Mike
then welcomed Scott Cameron of State Farm Insurance, who is also a Gold Sponsor of our club.
Scott explained the importance of having insurance and talked at length of how to protect our
assets as well as finances. State Farm offers policies from golf carts, to motorcycles, to cars,
trucks, boats, RVs up to houses, health and others. State Farm is on your side. Just ask Jake!
Mike then introduced Peter Bracknell of Star Custom Designs, who has recently become a
CCMC Gold Sponsor. Bring your car and ideas to Star Custom Designs and let them bring them
to reality. They specialize in custom paint, hydrographics and hydrodipping for automotive
parts, motorcycle and trailer components, helmets, steering wheels and golf carts.
Mike and Roger Duty then presented Gold Sponsor plaques to Scott and Peter expressing
CCMC’s appreciation of their sponsorship.
