Secretary report December 3, 2025

CORVETTE CLUB OF MARION COUNTY General Membership Business Meeting Minutes December 3, 2025 PRESIDENT: Mike Stone Mike welcomed all members to the meeting, asked everyone to take off their hats for the Pledge of Allegiance. Mike then adjourned the meeting at 7:04 p.m. for the Annual December Election. Rosalee D’Altilio then called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. As there was no one running against any position, Rosalee announced the positions as follows: President, Mike Stone; Vice President, Tina Farabee; Secretary, Joyce Stone; Treasurer, Jack Carroll; Event Coordinator, Cheryl Whiteley; Members at Large, Mark Pettus and Ron Supancic. As only one vote was needed, Rosalee cast the vote and welcomed the 2026 Board Members. At that time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. Mike continued the business portion of the meeting at 7:10 p.m. He informed the members the Executive Board Meeting will be held on December 19 th due to the holidays and members are welcome to attend. The meeting is at Mimi’s starting at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and 9:30 a.m. for the meeting. Mike reiterated the November events that were held as well as the Holiday Party, which were all well-attended. VICE PRESIDENT: Tina Farabee New Members/Guests: Our new member is Bill Dasher and Ina Binstock who own a C7 Red Corvette. He was with the Coastguard for 27 years. Our guests this evening are Candace and Dave Marston who have a 1991 Green C4. Welcome! Total Membership: 78 families. New Car Purchases/Changes: None. Service Providers pros/cons: None. Trophies/Awards: Dennis Dold won second place for all Chevys from 2010 to 2025 at the Villages Camero Club All Chevy Car Show hosted by Cecil Clark. Art Roy won Top Corvette at the Sullivan Toys for Tots car show. Congratulations to both of you! Toys for Tots did very well, and I thank all who participated. Holiday Party: Although I was not there, I am told everyone had an enjoyable time. Arnette House: They are still rocking and rolling. SECRETARY: Joyce Stone Meeting Minutes: A motion was made to accept the November 2025 General Membership Business Meeting Minutes as posted, second made, all in favor; therefore, the November 2025 minutes were accepted. Correspondence: Two letters of thanks were read aloud to the members received by two guests at the car show and other comments sent by a club member. We are always grateful to have positive feedback. A personal thank you card was read sent from Art Roy for the CCMC donation that was made in Jeanne’s name. TREASURER: Jack Carroll Financial Report: The November 1 st beginning balance was $14,852.55. One bank deposit was made for $6,095.68. Nine mobile deposits were made for $672.68. One credit charge was made for $132.68. Twelve checks were written totaling $4,197.45. Bank fee was $5.46. The ending balance November 30 th is $17,550.68. A motion was made to accept the November 2025 Financial Report; second made, all in favor, opposed none; therefore, the November 2025 Financial Report was accepted. Membership Dues: I have a reminder that the 2026 Membership dues are due at the first meeting in January. SPONSOR/VENDOR COORDINATOR: Roger Duty Our new sponsor Tint World was going to attend the meeting tonight; however, we will try to arrange for him to speak next month. On the Spot will renew their membership and Reds is due for renewal in December. Currently, sponsorship income is $4250 and with the renewals above, we will have $4550 by the end of December. EVENT COORDINATOR: Cheryl Whiteley and Nick D’Altilio December Events: December 15 th , Grandview Clydesdale Christmas Tour; December 16 th , ORF’s breakfast at Bagelicious; December 17 th , CCMC Executive Board Meeting. January Events: January 1 st , Hangover Cruise; January 4 th Jeanne Roy’s Celebration of Life; January 7 th , CCMC General Membership Business Meeting; January 21 st , ORF’s breakfast at Scrambles; January 28 th , CCMC Executive Board Meeting and Monthly Dinner to be announced in January. February Events: February 4 th , CCMC General Membership Business Meeting; February 7 th , Valentine Scramble; February 18 th , ORF’s breakfast at Mimi’s; February 25 th , CCMC Executive Board Meeting and Monthly Dinner to be announced in January. NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM (NCM) AMBASSADOR: Dave Rosser April 22 nd , NCM Bash in Kentucky. A block of rooms is being held at the Drury Inn. Members who signed up have been given directions to reserve their own rooms. April 25 th , NCM Wheels in Motion will head to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina from the NCM driving the Tail of the Dragon which has 331 turns in 11 miles. NCM will be making all reservations and dinner reservations. An information packet has been given to members who signed up. Please make the necessary arrangements as these events fill up quickly. WEBSITE: Lyn Yanss Daily, I have received 2-3 compliments regarding our November Car Show. I took pictures of 133 cars and have been getting them on the website for people to view and print if they wish. I have also been catching up on posting events and flyers for upcoming events. FACEBOOK: John Farabee We have been receiving favorable hits on Facebook from coast to coast on the car show as well as the monthly events we have. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Birthdays: Nancy Duty December birthday wishes go out to Don Kiger, John McArdle, Jack Carroll, Joyce Stone, Jackie Hall, DeAnn Holton, Jane Gribbin, Don Peyton, Josette Turner, Larry Luke, Deb McShinsky, Paul Logas, Gary White, Belinda Hawkins, Tony Kelichner. Sunshine: Nikki Colom (Joyce Stone read for Nikki today as Nikki was unable to attend). November get well cards went out to Dave Rosser, Colleen Smith, Eileen Peterson, Rene Dupray, Sue and Jack Carroll, JoAnn, and Joe Marhefki. Hope everyone will be feeling better soon. Thinking of you cards went out to Tom Jones and Eileen Peterson. Club Shirts: Nikki Colom (Joyce Stone read for Nikki today as Nikki was unable to attend). The club shirt is a white-collar polo shirt for men and a white shirt/blouse for the ladies. Purchase your shirt(s), bring them to a meeting with the money and Nikki will have them embroidered and returned at the next meeting. The logo and name cost is $15. Checks can be made out to Brenda Hawter. All shirt embroidery/logo sales must go through CCMC. Club Caps: Don Messenger Vented and regular baseball style caps as well as visors with the club logo already on are $15 each and are available at all meetings. Club Badges: Ernie Brandes Magnetic name badges are available for $11. See me after the meeting to order and the badge will be returned to you at the next meeting. Food4Kids: Ernie Brandes Thank you, Art Roy, for picking up and delivering 16 bags to Harbour View Elementary School in November. Roger and Nancy Duty will be doing the same in December. All the food collected at the Holiday Party was delivered to Interfaith Food4Kids and was greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who contributed. 50/50 RAFFLE: Dennis Sundermeyer was lucky tonight winning the $77 split. Congratulations! Mimi’s Gift Card: Dave Rosser was lucky as well, having the right raffle number. Congratulations!
