General Membership Business Meeting Minutes
July1, 2026
PRESIDENT: Mike Stone
Mike called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Mike welcomed everyone to the meeting, reminded
everyone to sign in and to silence their phones. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all.
Mike went on to introduce two guest speakers who are also sponsors of the club. First up was
Brittany from Spike’s Performance & Refinishing located off Bonnie Heath Boulevard in Ocala.
Brittany explained their business operation. Following that, Dean Santiago, the owner, came in
and shared that they do not work with insurance companies. Also with restoration, they are
equipped to do custom painting which they have done on motorcycles and bumpers. They do not
do wraps. Members who have had work done at Spike’s have been pleased with their service.
Mike then introduced Parrish Tanner of Ocala Car Audio & Tint who John Farabee brought on
board as a Platinum Sponsor. Their business began in 2008, located on the corner of Pine and
Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala. They are equipped to do window tinting, car audio, car
camera installation advancing to 360-degree camera outlook as well as audio upgrades which
have advanced to car play. A question from the membership was if they could apply a windshield
decal and the answer was “yes.” Several members of our club have done business with them and
have all been satisfied.
Mike went on with the meeting, reminding everyone to check emails for updates and changes
happening. He went on to reiterate June’s events.
VICE PRESIDENT: Tina Farabee
Membership Update: We have 73 families.
New Members: New members tonight are Jim and Laurel Grasser; Jim has a C7 2019 Grand
Sport, Arctic White and Laurel has a 1970 C3 Hampton Blue. Kenn and Sonja Mitchell also
became members this evening and are driving a 2022 C8 Z51 Red convertible. Kenn is a
Vietnam Veteran and just moved to OTOW from Naples. Welcome to CCMC!
New Car Purchases/Changes: John McArdle purchased a 1981 corvette C3, beige in color.
Service Providers Pros/Cons: John Farabee recently had a radar detector installed on his C7 at
Ocala Car Audio & Tint and was happy with their service. John Farabee took his Mercedes to the
Mercedes dealer, and they wanted $2000 to repair his brakes. Ed Williams at WickEd
Performance did the brake job for $500. Thank you, Ed.
Trophies/Awards: None in June.
Picnic Update: The picnic is ready to go. If you ordered a picnic shirt, please see me to pick it
up. There will be members helping to show you the way to the parking area. Joyce and Carla will
be signing you in with the opportunity to have the earlier paid fee of $10 returned to you or you
can donate it to the charities. Once again, the picnic is at Molly’s Farm with a CCMC Event sign
in front of Rosser’s home.
Arnette House: They are going strong. They are arranging a Bowling fundraiser with 6 people on
a team. Please refer to their website for further information.
SECRETARY: Joyce Stone
A motion was made to accept the June meeting minutes, second made, all in favor, none
opposed; therefore, motion carried.
TREASURER: Jack Carroll
Financial Report: June beginning balance was $12,903.32. Four bank deposits were made
totaling $1,450.00. Three Mobile deposits were made totaling $498.00. Five charges were made
totaling $162.00. Four checks were written totaling $834.60. One withdrawal was made for
$20.00. Bank Service Fee was $5.00. Ending balance on July 1 st is $14,153.72. A motion was
made to accept the June Financial Report as reported, second made, all in favor, opposed none;
therefore, the June 2026 Financial Report was accepted.
SPONSOR/VENDOR COORDINATOR: Roger Duty
We have a new Platinum Sponsor, Ocala Car Audio & Tint ($500) brought to us by John Farabee
Kudos to John for an excellent job. Star Custom Designs has become a new Gold sponsor ($400)
after talking with Peter Bracknell, the President, and discussing the levels with him. Kudos to
Mark Pettus for letting me know of their interest in getting them on board. State Farm stepped up
to become a Gold sponsor ($400) after being a Silver sponsor for many years. A new Silver
sponsor was set up, Woods Printing. Tom Ready’s assistance with CCMC over the years has
been incredible and deserves to receive perks and advertising for being a sponsor. Appreciation
plaques for all the above are on order with Tom Ready. Total sponsorship money is $5080.

Monthly dinner at Bella Cosa.
September Events: September 16 th , ORF’s breakfast at The Farmhouse; September 17 th , ice cream
at Jeremiah’s; September 23 rd , Monthly dinner TBD; September 26 th , Ma Barker Tour.
CAR SHOW DIRECTOR: Rosalee D’Altilio
136 days left until November 14 th . Currently, there are 15 Judged cars, 1 Feature car and 15
Participant’s Choice. We have 11 hotel reservations. Food truck has been sold, and we are
looking for a food truck to start at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. We went over the parking lot map. The
DJ contract has been signed. Trophies are done. Everything is going well.
ELECTION COMMITTEE CHAIR: Rosalee D’Altilio
Gail Messenger and Nikki Colom are on the committee. All positions are open including
President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, 2 Members at Large, Event Coordinator. Any
member who is interested in any position, please speak to either me, Gail, or any of the
presiding board members. The term is 1 year. Anyone interested in the position of Webmaster
assistant is welcome as well.
NCM (National Corvette Museum) AMBASSADOR: Dave Rosser
The new building is coming along. It is a 66,000-square-foot building that will hold 120 cars on
display along with the restoration of old corvettes, racetrack with school training to learn to drive
on the racetrack and much, much more. Next year is approaching quickly and plans are being
made. Anyone interested in attending the NCM Bash in April, please see me. The new building
will be open at that time. We had a fun time this year and would like to bring more members
along in 2027.
WEBMASTER: Lyn Patent Yanss
First off, I would like to thank everyone who came to my birthday party. I had a lot of fun putting
it together and was glad to see everyone having a fun time. Once again, I am asking members to
get on the website to sign-up for events and look around the site. In May, we had 10 visitors and
in June we had 15. With 73 families, those numbers are not good. Please take some time and get
on the website. There is a lot of information available all for the members. If you have questions
or are unsure of how to do it, please see me. I would be glad to help.
FACEBOOK: John Farabee
We had 1.2 million views for the month including international presence from New Zealand and
Australia. We have good media presence.

The club shirt is a white-collar polo shirt for men and a white shirt/blouse for the ladies.
Purchase your shirt(s), bring it to a meeting with the money and Nikki will have it embroidered
and returned at the next meeting. The logo and name are $15.
Hats/Visors: Don Messenger
I just got a new stock of mesh hats and fabric baseball style hats as well as visors with the club
logo already on for $15 each and are available at every meeting.
Club Badges/Food4Kids: Ernie Brandes
Magnetic name badges are available for $11. See Ernie after the meeting to order and the badge
will be returned to you at the next meeting.
Food4Kids: The schedule has been made up for the 2026-2027 school year. All volunteers have
received a schedule. Carol and I will take care of September, and the rotation picks up from
there. Thank you to all teams who come out every week to keep this program going for the kids.
Harbor Hills Country Club: The annual brunch is Sunday August 9 th . We have 2 caravans going,
one will leave from the west side and the other from the east side. All the information is posted
on the website so sign up by August 6 th . I will call in the number of people attending on August
7 th .
OPEN FORUM: Roger Peterson thanked those who volunteered for the parade July 4 th at Spruce
Creek Del Webb. There are 29 corvettes, 24 of them are from CCMC. Please arrive at 7:15-7:30
as the parade starts at 8:00 a.m. Tony Kelichner has Veterans to ride; some are from World War
II.
RAFFLES: Tina Farabee
50/50 Raffle: $105 was won by Lyn Patent Yanss who immediately donated it back to our
charities. Thank you, Lyn.
Mimi’s Gift Card: Dave Rosser.
Motion to Adjourn: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made and seconded. Motion passed.
