CORVETTE CLUB OF MARION COUNTY General Membership Business Meeting Minutes May 7, 2025 PRESIDENT: Mike Stone Mike called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. He welcomed all members and guests and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mike introduced our Corporate Sponsor, Rich Gruber and his manager, Joey Frampton, of Sullivan Cadillac. Rich thanked the membership for being a part of the car show he had on May 3rd, wherein we brought 24 cars. He also thanked us for working together on the upcoming November 15th Toys 4 Tots Event. In addition, Rich also offers generous discounts on his services (please refer to the heading “sponsors who give discounts”) on the website. To show our appreciation for being our Corporate Sponsor, he was awarded a plaque listing the years he has sponsored us. Rich and Joey were much appreciative and we look forward to seeing it on our visits there. We are also honoring Joe Martin, the owner of Mimi’s, who graciously donates his restaurant to CCMC to hold monthly meetings, not to mention the dozens of mini muffins he donates the day of the car show. Joe and his staff are most accommodating to our club members and offer a 10% discount to CCMC members. To show our appreciation to Joe for being a Gold Sponsor, we awarded him with a plaque listing the years he has been our sponsor and declaring Mimi’s “The Home of the Marion County Corvette Club.” In other news, the Spring Picnic was well attended with over 39 cars. Thanks to Tina and Team Party for another momentous event.
